We speak to Sonya, an alumna from the Population Health Sciences BSc. Hear what Sonya has to say about studying her course at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳.
What is your fondest memory of your time at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳?
As we were a smaller class, the support we received as students within the faculty was great. ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ also held a variety of shows and clubs which we could partake in.
Please tell us a bit about the work you are doing now.
Currently I work in the pharmaceutical sector as an epidemiologist where I help design and run studies using real-world data for clients (pharmaceutical, government or public authorities).
How did your ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ degree help you get to where you are now?
My undergraduate degree at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ gave me great foundational skills, in terms of epidemiological knowledge as well as R programming skills, that I use in my current role.Â
What have been your career highlights?
Being able to use what I learnt during my undergraduate degree and masters degree in my current job and continuing to develop my skillset and knowledge that stemmed from ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳.

Enjoy every moment of it!
