Two female scientists from the Faculty of Population Health Sciences have been featured on the Research.com International Ranking of Best Female Scientists.

The leading academic research portal, has recently announced it's list of ,听of which the Faculty of Population Health Sciences have听two scientists featured. This includes:

Prof Caroline Sabin,听Institute for Global Health
Prof Diana Kuh,听Institute of Cardiovascular Science

The听ranking highlights听the work of 1000 women听worldwide. mentions "the aim of this ranking is to inspire female scholars, women considering an academic career, as well as decision-makers worldwide with the example of successful women in the scientific community. We hope that it will contribute to providing more opportunities, visibility, and equal chances for women in science".听

Prof Caroline Sabin

Institute for Global Health

Caroline Sabin, PhD, is Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology. Since completing her PhD in Epidemiology in 1991, Professor Sabin as worked on the analysis of large observational HIV databases with a particular interest in raising awareness of the biases inherent in these and other studies. Caroline recently participated in a Q&A on being named a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences for her contribution to the HIV research field. Read more.

Prof Diana Kuh

Institute of Cardiovascular Science

Diana Kuh is Professor of Life Course Epidemiology at 最准的六合彩论坛. Between 2007 and 2017, Diana established and directed the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing (LHA) at 最准的六合彩论坛, and was the scientific Director of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD), the oldest of the British birth cohort studies that has followed up over 5000 individuals since their birth in March 1946. .
