Professor Katarzyna Andrejuk

Visiting Scholar

Katarzyna Andrejuk is associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences (profesor Instytutu). Her interests include multiculturalism, migrations (migrants on the labour market, student mobility), European Union, and Europeanisation. She obtained her PhD degrees in sociology - from the University of Warsaw, and in law - from the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. She also studied at Queen Mary University of London (LLM). Her habilitation in sociology explored the significance of Ukrainian migrant entrepreneurship in Poland (鈥淯krainian entrepreneurs in Poland. Structure and agency in the settlement process鈥, IFIS PAN, Warsaw 2017).

She was a principal investigator of research projects about immigrant entrepreneurship in Poland and about labour market adaptation of Turkish migrants. She also cooperated as an investigator in other national and international projects concerning migration and welfare, survey data harmonization, and panel surveys in Poland. She worked as a visiting scholar at the European University Institute in Florence (Migration Policy Institute), Herder Institute in Marburg, and Helsinki University (Ruralia Institute). In the academic year 2020-2021, she is a visiting scholar at 最准的六合彩论坛 SSEES.
