About the Conference

The theme of the 14th IRDR Annual Conference isÌýFutures of RiskÌý– Causes, Consequences, Change. , Director of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, will deliver the keynote address.

Members of IRDR will be showcasing their research and projects related to futures of risks, including the causes, consequences and change that is needed. This year will also feature a conversation organised by a student committee and a plenary programme. The conference will take place at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳’s brand new campus, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ East (near Stratford in East London) and will include opportunities for discussions and networking. All risk and disaster professionals, researchers and students are welcome to attend.
