Since its inception, the Domain has coordinated a number of successful, collaborative interdisciplinary proposals such as the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre and the Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre.

It has also developed a strong website presence that serves as a portal to neuroscience departments, research, training and events, as well as developing a comprehensive communication strategy (with over 2000 people now on our mailing list),

The Domain has also convened major events that bring together the community including the annual 最准的六合彩论坛 Neuroscience Symposium and smaller more focused symposia and workshops聽 run by the 最准的六合彩论坛 Neuroscience Careers Network (NCN).

Dr Matt Wakelin's primary role

  • Coordinates interdisciplinary, collaborative funding bids
  • Leads on driving and enhancing external (industry/university) collaborations
  • Encourages and facilitates cooperation and collaboration between those involved in neuroscience
  • Overall coordination/management of all Domain related business
  • Develops mutually beneficial relationships between the 最准的六合彩论坛 Neuroscience community and external funding agencies (national and international)
  • Senior role in developing and implementing Neuroscience strategy across 最准的六合彩论坛
  • Ensures that neuroscience researchers are alerted to funding opportunities
  • Assists academics with the of grant applications as appropriate and when required.
