What is your role and what does it involve?

I am a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Aesthetic Dentistry Programmes at the ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Eastman Dental Institute. I am a specialist dentist (prosthodontist) and educator. I teach dentists on how to confidently treat complex dental problems and create dream smiles.Ìý

How long have you been at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ and what was your previous role?

I have been at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ since September 2007. Before that, I was an academic teaching prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina, USA.

What working achievement or initiative are you most proud of?

The creation of the one-year degree programme in Aesthetic Dentistry. We have alumni of 15 years and we train dentists from all over the world in evidence-based contemporary aesthetic dental treatments.

Tell us about a project you are working on now which is top of your to-do list:

An MSc Programme in Aesthetic Dentistry, involving patient clinical care.

What is your favourite album, film and novel?

Film: Match Point by Woody Allen, Album: Eagles by the Eagles, Novel: Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.

What is your favourite joke (pre-watershed)?

I am noÌýgood at remembering jokes!

Who would be your dream dinner guests?

Edgar Ramirez, Winston Churchill and David Bowie.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Don't lose time. Chase after your dreams - the sky is the limit!

What would it surprise people to know about you?

I weight lift or practice Vinyasa Yoga every day.
