×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ focus on climate change

Today is 'Health Day' at COP16, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, and delegates and negotiators are being briefed by ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳.

A briefing paper based on the report of the 2009 ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳-Lancet Commission on Managing the Health Effects of Climate is being distributed by members of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations.

Professor Hugh Montgomery (×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Medicine) organised the briefing and was a co-author of the report.

The briefing is endorsed by the Climate & Health Council, Health Care Without Harm and the Health & Environment Alliance.
