The ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Institute for Global Health (IGH) Town Meeting on Infectious Diseases, held on 25 February 2009, drew in 70 registrants from across ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ faculties.

The aim of the event was to highlight the vast range of research in progress and to identify potential areas of connectivity. It also explored how the ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ IGH could help with new research or advocacy.

Discussion addressed how the ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ community could come together to meet the challenge of infectious diseases. A short report on the meeting and actions for the coming months will be circulated.
