Remote, not distant at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳

Feeling lonely is one of the most commonly reported challenges ofÌýremoteÌýworking. You may be feeling disconnected, isolated or just not your usual self. For more tips about connecting with others during this difficult time, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ have collatedÌýtools and information to support you and those around youÌýto adapt to working in this new way, including whatÌýself-help we can do to support ourselves.

During remote working, individual work loads may change during this period. ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Together will help provide support to departments with high workloads by connecting them with staff who are willing and able to help.Ìý

Care First

×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ is partnered withÌýCare FirstÌýto provide 24/7 support to all staff/PhD students and out of hours support to all students. Care First is a free and confidential service to our community. Telephone support is now also available to contractors working for ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ during the pandemic. You can contact them on 0800 197 4510 to discuss any concerns you may have whilst working remotely.Ìý You can find more information on theÌýWorkplace Health website.

We may struggle with our own concerns and anxieties about coronavirus. Mind have created some useful guidance focusing on how toÌýÌýduring these uncertain times, thatÌýcan help you with planning and taking care of your wellbeing during self-isolation, working from home and worries around COVID-19.
