The Pichaud Lab is excited to welcome Prof Jennifer Curtiss from New Mexico State University, who will be joining us for a six-month sabbatical. During her time at the LMCB, Prof Curtiss will focus on mastering live imaging techniques to study the developing Drosophila retina. Prof Curtiss was recently awarded a three-year NSF grant for her groundbreaking research on tissue morphogenesis using the Drosophila retina as a model system. As part of this award, she will collaborate with the Pichaud Lab to deepen her expertise in live imaging and computational approaches, enhancing our understanding of cell interactions during morphogenesis.
