  • JRO = Joint research office.Ìý

The JRO is the office that links research (either from ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ or ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳H) with the hospital resources. To carry out a clinical or observational study at the ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳H or NHNN you must contact the JRO before starting any activities or applying for funding.ÌýAbout | Joint Research Office - ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ – ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳

Contact the JRO if you want to:

  1. Set up a clinical trial;
  2. Set up a observational study (example: identification of a biomarker in patients)
  3. Set up a biobank;
  4. Patient and public involvement and much more.
  • RIS =ÌýResearch and Innovation Services = contracts

ÌýResearch and Innovation Services (RIS). The team advisesÌýon administrative services, review and approves grant proposals ahead of the submission. This is a mandatory step in ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ grant lifecycle. Contact a member of the RIS to:

At ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ you are entitled to 40 days of consultancy work per year. This applies to academic staff, such as lecturers, readers, and professors at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳. If you are not part of one of these categories, please talk to ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳C directly.Ìý×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Consultants | ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Consultants Ltd - ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ – ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳.Ìý

×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳C charges a fee of 20% of the overall project value for projects below £75,000 and 10% for projects with an overall project value of £75,000 or more. Please note, this fee may differ for Bespoke Short Courses. ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳C is not funded by ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳, though all profits made is gifted to the university.
