The hybrid event held on July 12th 2023, celebrated the achievements of staff and students across ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ who are making a real contribution to the University’s sustainability agenda. Keynote speakers covered ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳'s achievements, including increased engagement in Green Impact and LEAF, and ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳'s leadership within the sector on sustainability:

• Aimie Chapple, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Vice-Provost (Operations).
• Professor Priti Parikh, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Associate Professor at the Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management.
• Zihan Xuan, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ final year Philosophy, Politics and Economics student.
• Jason Clarke, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Assistant Director of Sustainability.

This year’s Ceremony welcomed nominees and award winners from across ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳, including nominations for the Awards celebrating ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳’s outstanding sustainability champions, and the teams participating in Green Impact and LEAF.

The awards were made in recognition of the innovative best practice across the Institute, examples of which can be found on our Sustainability pages, and builds upon our success at previous awards.
