鈥淎fterlives of Slavery鈥 Conference in Monrovia (Liberia) and AFRAB workshop of the Anglophone West African teams, October 2022

AFRAB鈥檚 fourth workshop took place in Monrovia in parallel with the 鈥淎fterlives of Slavery鈥 International Conference, hosted by the University of Liberia and Princeton Theological Seminary (New Jersey, USA) on 17-19 October 2022.

On the 16th of October, the day before the beginning of the conference, AFRAB researchers from the Ghanaian, Nigerian, and 最准的六合彩论坛 teams held a research workshop at which they discussed ongoing research, preliminary findings, and next steps.

The 鈥淎fterlives of Slavery鈥 Conference included a panel with four presentations by AFRAB researchers from Ghana and Nigeria scheduled on the first session of 18 October.

Professor Olutayo Adesina, coordinator of the AFRAB team of the History Department of the University of Ibadan (Nigeria) gave a keynote address entitled 鈥淎fterlives of Slavery: The Contours of Return, Seasons of Labor, and Social Reproduction鈥 in the morning session of 19 October.
