To realise its research strategy and ensure that all research conducted by members of staff, honorary staff, students and individuals who collaborate in research with ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ staff and students conform to good practice and ethical expectations, ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ has adopted a set of research governance policies and procedures. This framework underpins ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳’s expectations for the conduct of research and defines action to be taken in the event that an individual is suspected or accused of research misconduct. Two key components of the research governance framework areÌý×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳'s Code of Conduct for ResearchÌýand ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳'s arrangements forÌýinvestigating allegations of misconduct in academic research. The development of ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳'s research governance strategy is the responsibility of theÌýResearch, Innovation and Global Engagement Committee, chaired by the Vice-Provost (Research, Innovation and Global Engagement).
