Anna Kvit

1. Hello! Tell us a little bit about yourself, and what you do at 最准的六合彩论坛.

Hi! My name is Anna. I am from Kyiv, Ukraine. I am a Visiting Research Fellow at 最准的六合彩论坛. My research is focused mainly on women and war: women in the military, gendered impacts of war, policy making around women peace and security agenda.

2. What are you most looking forward to working on over the coming months?

I am looking forward to working on my research on gender dimensions of the war in Ukraine. I also hope to find researchers with similar interests to cooperate with.

3. What would you do (for a career) if you weren鈥檛 doing this?

I would be a doctor or psychologist.

4. What are your main interests outside work?

Travel, music, photography

5. Where would you like to visit once our way of life has returned to normal?

Mexico. There are so many things to see there that I鈥檝e even started drafting a wish-list few years ago. I hope someday it will become an actual plan

6. If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pasta :)聽without a doubt

7. What鈥檚 your favourite city, and why?

Kyiv. Because it is home. And because it is a dynamic, beautiful and welcoming city. And also because it never stops surprising me.

8. What is your favourite podcast?

A Ukrainian podcast 鈥淚n simple words鈥. Two friends (psychologist and writer) explain humans鈥 behaviour and emotions in a simple and funny way. Liked listening their sincere dialogues in times of social distancing and war.

9. How was lockdown(s) for you and what did you learn from it?

I really enjoyed the fact I did not have to commute to work. It saved me a lot of time. I鈥檝e discovered a beautiful place in my area and I鈥檝e spent more time in the nature. Lockdown was also a great reminder that humans are social creatures and that in-person communication matters. I鈥檝e learned more about the value of the time spend alone and with important for me people.

10. Tell us a joke!

What do you learn in both Math and Social Studies class?

Inequalities.
