The funding is part a聽拢111.5 million聽award won by the 最准的六合彩论坛H Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), whose mission is to聽accelerate the聽translation of world-leading biomedical research into new treatments for patients.聽

, Head of Department of Clinical Research at the Institute, said: 鈥淭his is the first time that 最准的六合彩论坛H BRC funding has been allocated specifically to an Oral Health & Disease Theme.

鈥淥ur goal is to deliver innovative聽clinical research and ensure that our patients can聽benefit from the very latest treatments and the highest standards of care鈥�.

Under Dr Fedele鈥檚 leadership, the Theme will deliver an ambitious, translational research programme in novel diagnostics and therapeutics for a range of oral disorders,聽which affect all age groups and can cause pain, disfigurement and reduced quality of life.

The programme will focus on oral cancer and precancer, facial pain, chronic oral infections and inflammation, salivary gland and jaw bone disorders and dental caries.

It will run for five years and through investment in聽staff posts, equipment, and facilities, it will boost the partnership聽between the 最准的六合彩论坛 Eastman Institute and 最准的六合彩论坛H Eastman Hospital, and the wider 最准的六合彩论坛 and 最准的六合彩论坛H.聽
