About James Cole's Inaugural Lecture

Professor Cole discusses his research journey, focusing on how neuroimaging can be used to address clinical challenges in neurological and psychiatric diseases.

He outlines four key stages in his career: starting with his undergraduate studies in Psychology, moving on to a PhD in psychiatric neuroimaging genetics, then exploring the brain-age paradigm, and finally, his current role at ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳.

HeÌýshares his insights on the potential of statistical modelling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to use neuroimaging and healthcare data to better understand and promote brain health throughout life.
