Tribute to Professor John Parr

John Parr, Honorary Professor at The Bartlett School of Planning, has passed away.
The School is saddened to announce the passing of听Professor John Brian Parr, in early January 2023. John came to BSP as an Honorary Professor in 2016, after his retirement from the University of Glasgow, and in the last 6 years was a constant presence in the academic and social life of the department, and seen by many as a mentor.
He dedicated his academic career to the field of regional sciences, and there is a 听summarising his academic achievements and personal qualities, for which he will be much missed.
