Studying

The Bartlett School of Architecture, along with departments across ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ and in line with the UK government’s restrictions,Ìýis not conducting any face-to-face teachingÌýduring Term 3. Tutorials, seminars, crits and lectures are instead being delivered remotely and students are not required to meet in person, either with each other or with their tutors.ÌýÌý

Students can self-certify if they need more time for assignments due to an extenuating circumstance via  Moodle. A ‘no detriment’ package has been developed to support students’ progression and graduation.ÌýÌý

Our BuildingsÌý

We are working towards a phased re-opening of both of our buildings: 22 Gordon StreetÌýin BloomsburyÌýand Here EastÌýin the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.Ìý

Access to 22 Gordon StreetÌýis being offered to all students and staff during Term 3 (from Monday 26 April) using the school’s pre-booking system to limit the number of people on site.ÌýThe building occupancy is limited to 15-20% and the allocation of spaces to specific groups or programmes has been suspended.ÌýÌý

Staff and students can book theirÌýplaceÌýa week ahead of their intendedÌýsession andÌýmustÌýadhere to the control measures put in place by the school’s Facilities TeamÌýand ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Estates to ensure social distancing, personal hygiene and - most importantly - the safety of all on site.ÌýÌý

Here EastÌýisÌýremains closed for most cases, but we are working to make it accessible for staff and students later in the summer.ÌýÌý

Working

Working from home should be prioritised for all those whose work can be carried out offsite, both academic and professional.Ìý

The majority ofÌýthe school’s academic and professional services staff are currently workingÌýremotely butÌýare reachable during their usual working hours. VisitÌýourÌýPeopleÌýpages for contact details.ÌýÌý

For urgent matters, the Teaching & Learning team can now be contacted by staff and students via email orÌýMicrosoft Teams.ÌýÌý

Students are encouraged to get in touch with their Personal Tutor or Departmental Tutor if they need support.ÌýStaff can reach out to their colleagues, as well asÌýCare First. Ìý
