Job Vacancy: Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Cultural Heritage

The ×î×¼µÄÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳ Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for an Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Cultural Heritage (Ref.:1883992). The deadline for applications is 23 May 2022.
A part-time (60%FTE) Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Cultural Heritage is sought to teach core and option modules to postgraduate students.
The post-holder will primarily carry out the following tasks: teaching a core module on the MA Cultural Heritage Studies; contributing to teaching on the module ARCL0215 'Presenting the Past to the Public'; supervising MA Cultural Heritage Studies dissertations; carrying out related marking duties; and other contributions as required.
The post is available from 1 June 2022 and is funded until 31 December 2024.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in an area relevant to Heritage Studies (e.g. Anthropology, Archaeology, Area Studies, Art History, History, Geography). They will have experience of leading/convening a postgraduate taught module or lecturing/providing tutorial support in a relevant field at postgraduate level. They will also have experience of research-led teaching, of assessing student work at postgraduate level, and supervision/supporting of MA dissertations.Â
