Applicants with seriously restricted mobility should note that the Slade building might cause them difficulties, although there is a lift linking all main floors. Prior to submitting an application, disabled students who might require the provision of specially adapted facilities should contact a Disability, Mental Health and Wellbeing adviser to discuss their individual needs. Student representation
The Slade has a Staff/Student Committee which meets regularly to discuss all matters relating to the education and welfare of students and includes student representatives from all areas of the School. Two of its members are also elected to sit on the Slade Academic Planning Committee and represent undergraduate and graduate student issues respectively.
Student welfare

Within the Slade, personal tutors and the undergraduate and graduate tutors provide academic and often personal support throughout the programme. The Academic Manager can also help on many matters, financial, personal or academic.
