New publication in Journal of Cell Science for Acton Lab

In their , the Acton Lab聽show that lymph node fibroblastic reticular cell behaviour is controlled by the partnership of a key transmembrane protein podoplanin with two membrane-organising proteins, CD44 and CD9. When associated with each of these partners, podoplanin signals differently, controlling actomyosin contractility, cell spreading , polarity and adhesion. Podoplanin partners are 聽important for FRCs to elongate in response to dendritic cells, a key process in acute lymph node expansion.
